Lock-up control solenoid valves

  1. Ensure that oil passages in the solenoid valve assembly are clear.

  1. Position a new filter/gasket to torque converter housing, fit solenoid valve assembly, fit and tighten bolts to 12 Nm.

  1. Ensure main separator plate locating dowel is fitted in torque converter housing.
  2. Fit main separator plate.
  3. Fit oil pump driven gear and shaft ensuring that grooved and chamfered side of gear is towards main separator plate.
  4. Locate flange of oil pump drive gear in main separator plate.
