Removing

- Position the vehicle on a lift.

Op. 1008C34 BRACKET ON GEARBOX FOR LOWER REACTION ROD - R.R.

1. Undo the bolt securing the lower reaction link to the suspension crossmember.

2. Remove the lower reaction link.

Refitting

1. Place the lower reaction link in position.

2. Tighten the bolt securing the lower reaction link to the suspension crossmember to torque.

- Remove the vehicle from the lift.

1.3 Multijet, 1.4 16v

Removing

- Position the vehicle on a lift.

Op. 1076B20 REAR EXHAUST SILENCER - R + R

Op. 1076B40 CENTRE EXHAUST PIPE - R.R.

1. Undo the bolt secured to the gearbox (1a) and the fixing bolt on the suspension crossmember (1b).

2. Remove the power unit lower reaction rod.

Refitting

1. Position the power unit lower reaction rod.

2. Tighten the fixing bolts on the gearbox (2a) and the suspension crossmember (2b) to the recommended torque.

- Remove the vehicle from the lift.
