• A friction washer (8) thick : 1,6 mm
• The flange (6)
• Differential crown wheel (5) (Mark "c" visible)

Refit and tighten : The 4 securing bolts ( differential box (4)).

Tightening method for the screws (4) :

• Pre-tightening to 2,2 ± 0,1 daN.m
• Angular tightening of 55 ± 1,5 °

Put into place the following tools :

• The expanding mandrel [13]
• The dial gauge support rod [14a]; Using a washer and a nut; Pinch the differential carrier
• The dial gauge support rod [14c]
• The dial gauge support [14b]
• The dial gauge [15]

Rotate the assembly several times; Using tool [13].

Set the dial gauge to zero.

Take 4 measurements at ? 90? of the clearance operating tool [13] vertically.

CAUTION : Maximum axial play 0,1 mm; If the result of the measurement is above this value, replace the friction washer to obtain the correct clearance.

N.B. : The friction washers are available in 7 different thicknesses : 1,55; 1,60; 1,65; 1,70; 1,75; 1,80; 1,85 mm.
