2nd Test (page 3 of 3)

1. Disconnect the fuel return (10) and supply (11) pipes. Also disconnect the multiple connector (12) and completely lower the tank.

2. Using a suitable tool, undo the ring nut (13) fixing the tray (14) to the tank and extract the tray taking care to recover the seal (15).
3. Remove the band fixing the fuel outlet pipe (16) from the tray cover and remove the pipe. Raise the tray cover until the rigid fuel return pipe (17) is removed.
4. Remove the two terminals (18) and (19) from the electric pump (20).
5. Undo the bolt (21) retaining the electric pump, suitably position the drip tray cover and remove the electric pump taking care to recover the gauze filter (22).
