• Tighten the nuts and screws that fasten the steering shaft support to the specified torque

• Re-position the fusebox and fasten it with its screws.
• Assemble the fusebox cover and fasten it with its screw.
• Complete with Op. 4110A40 Steering shaft JOINTS - Locking screws.
• Assemble the ring aerial of the Fiat CODE system on the ignition switch.
• Connect the electrical connections of the ignition switch

• Complete with Op. 5550A12 STEERING COLUMN LEVER UNIT complete - R+R. for versions with AIR BAG.
• Complete with Op. 4110A11 STEERING WHEEL - R+R. for Repl. or checks for versions with AIR BAG.
• Complete with Op. 5580C18 MODULE for AIR BAG - R+R.
• Complete with Op. 7040A26 Steering column COVER - R+R.
• Connect the battery (+) and (-) terminals

• Close the engine compartment.

The screw of the steering shaft fastening part must slot into the groove on the steering box pinion.

1. Tighten the nut (1a) of the fastening part of the steering shaft joint (1b) to the specified torque
