Removal

  1. Loosen the screw and disconnect the negative battery terminal clamp.

  1. Lift the positive battery terminal rubber guard.
  2. Loosen the screw and disconnect the positive battery terminal clamp.

  1. Remove the two nuts (1a) from the screws (1b) anchoring the battery basket and remove the bracket (1c).
  2. Remove the battery from the engine compartment.

Refitting

  • Position the battery in its basket.
  • Position the two anchoring screws, the battery bracket and screw the two fastening nuts.
  • Connect the positive battery terminal clamp, fasten the screw and refit the plastic guard.
  • Connect the negative battery terminal clamp and fasten the screw.

Removal

  1. Loosen the screw and disconnect the negative battery terminal clamp.
