  1. Introduce an appropriate tool (1a) in the hexagonal hole on the alternator shaft.
    Use the tool to keep the alternator shaft still. With another tool (1b) remove nut (1c) securing the fan to the pulley.
  2. Remove the pulley (2a) and the fan (2b) from the alternator shaft.

  1. Remove the shim from the alternator shaft.

Refitting

  • Position the shim on the alternator shaft.
  • Position the fan and the pulley.
  • Position the washer and screw the nut fastening these parts of the alternator shaft.
  • Complete with Op. 5530A10 - ALTERNATOR - R.R.
