Remove the protective cap from the bleed valve of one front brake caliper

Connect the collection system (pipe and reservoir) to the bleed valve on the brake caliper.

Operate the brake pedal until the brake-clutch fluid reservoir is empty.

1. Undo the nut (1a) and disconnect the rigid pipe (1b) from the slave cylinder from the damper.

Removing

Position the vehicle on the ramp

Remove the protective cap from the bleed valve of one front brake caliper

Connect the collection system (pipe and reservoir) to the bleed valve on the brake caliper.

Operate the brake pedal until the brake-clutch fluid reservoir is empty.

1. Raise collar (1a) and disconnect the rigid pipe (1b) with damper from the slave cylinder.

Removing

Remove the protective cap from the bleed valve of one front brake caliper

Connect the collection system (pipe and reservoir) to the bleed valve on the brake caliper.

Operate the brake pedal until the brake-clutch fluid reservoir is empty.

1. Undo clip (1a) and disconnect the pipe (1b) from the operating cylinder (1c).

Removing

Remove the protective cap from the bleed valve of one front brake caliper

Connect the collection system (pipe and reservoir) to the bleed valve on the brake caliper.

Operate the brake pedal until the brake-clutch fluid reservoir is empty.

1. Undo the nut (1a) and disconnect the rigid pipe (1b) from the slave cylinder from the damper.

Removing

Remove the protective cap from the bleed valve of one front brake caliper

Connect the collection system (pipe and reservoir) to the bleed valve on the brake caliper.

Operate the brake pedal until the brake-clutch fluid reservoir is empty.

1. Undo the nut (1a) and disconnect the rigid pipe (1b) from the slave cylinder from the damper.

1. Release the pipe from the retaining band.

1.4 16v

1. Release the pipe from the retaining band.

1.6 16v

1. Undo clip (1a) and disconnect the pipe (1b) from the clutch release cylinder (1c).

1.8 16v

1. Release the pipe from the retaining band.

1.9 JTD 8v · 80 CV

1. Undo the retaining bolts.

2. Remove the clutch release cylinder shield.

1.2 16v

1. Raise the clip (1a) and disconnect the pipe (1b) from the clutch release cylinder (1c).

Remove the pipe from the engine compartment.

1.4 16v

1. Raise the clip (1a) and disconnect the pipe (1b) from the clutch release cylinder (1c).

Remove the pipe from the engine compartment.

1.6 16v

1. Open the retaining band (1a) and remove the delivery hose to the operating cylinder (1b).

1.8 16v

1. Undo bolts (1a) and remove the clutch fluid pipe metal guard (1b).

1.9 JTD 8v · 80 CV

1. Release the pipe from the retaining band.

1.2 16v

Refitting

Fit the pipe in the engine bay and connect it to the clutch release cylinder.

Connect the rigid pipe to the master cylinder (pump) and tighten the connector to the damper.

Secure the rigid pipe to the band in the wheel compartment.

1.4 16v

Refitting

Fit the pipe in the engine bay and connect it to the clutch release cylinder.

Connect the rigid pipe to the master cylinder (pump) and then do up the retaining collar.

Secure the rigid pipe to the band in the wheel compartment.

Remove the car from the ramps.

1.6 16v

Refitting

Fit the supply hose to the slave cylinder and fasten the connector to the slave cylinder and the clutch release cylinder using bands.

Tighten the supply hose to the slave cylinder using a retaining band.

1.8 16v

1. Raise the clip.

2. Disconnect the oil pipe from the clutch release cylinder.

Remove the pipe from the engine compartment.

1.9 JTD 8v · 80 CV

1. Lift the clip (1a) and disconnect the pipe (1b) from the clutch release cylinder.

2. Remove the pipe from the engine compartment.

1.8 16v

Refitting

Fit the pipe in the engine bay and connect it to the clutch release cylinder.

Fit the metal protection for the fluid pipe and tighten the fixing bolts.

Connect the rigid pipe to the master cylinder (pump) and tighten the connector to the damper.

Secure the rigid pipe to the band in the wheel compartment.

Refitting

Fit the pipe in the engine bay and connect it to the clutch release cylinder.

Connect the rigid pipe to the master cylinder (pump) and tighten the connector to the damper.

Secure the rigid pipe to the band in the wheel compartment.
