Reverse lamp switch - ’t’ series

6. Remove oil seal cover.
7. Remove oil seal using a suitable lever and discard.

Refit

1. Clean oil seal housing.
2. Lubricate lip of NEW seal with gearbox oil.
3. Apply a smear of grease to outer edge of seal to aid fitment.
4. Fit seal.
5. Fit oil seal cover and secure.
6. Fit flat washer to steady bar fixture.
7. Position steady bar and selector rod, align holes.
8. Fit selector rod roll pin and fit retaining clip.
9. Fit steady bar dished washer, fit bolt and tighten to 10 Nm.
10. Remove stand(s) and lower vehicle.

REVERSE LAMP SWITCH - ’T’ SERIES

Service repair no - 37.27.01

Remove

1. Disconnect reverse lamp switch lead connectors.
2. Raise vehicle on 4 post ramp.
3. Remove switch from gearbox.
4. Remove and discard sealing washer.

Refit

1. Clean sealing washer and switch.
2. Fit NEW sealing washer to switch.
3. Fit and tighten switch to gearbox.
4. Lower vehicle.
5. Connect reverse lamp switch lead connectors.
