FRONT BRAKE PADS - REPLACE

Operation 3310A60 · FRONT DISC BRAKES

1.2 8v, 1.3 Multijet, 1.4 16v

Removing

- Position the vehicle on a lift.

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

- Remove the front wheel corresponding to the brake pads to be replaced.

Op. 4450B02 LEFT FRONT WHEEL - R.R

- or

Op. 4450B04 RIGHT FRONT WHEEL - R.R

1. Disconnect the brake pad wear sensor.

The brake pad wear sensor is only fitted on the left-hand front wheel.

1. Remove lock (1a) and fastening pin (1b) for the front brake calliper.

1. Open front brake calliper (1a) and remove brake pads (1b).

Refitting

- Place the new front brake pads in position.

- Close the front brake calliper and lock it using the fastening pin.

- Fit the retaining clip for the fastening pin for the front brake calliper.

1. Connect the brake pad wear sensor.

The brake pad wear sensor is only fitted on the left-hand front wheel.

- Refit the front wheel corresponding to the brake pads that were replaced.

Op. 4450B04 RIGHT FRONT WHEEL - R.R

- Connect the negative battery terminal.

- Remove the vehicle from the lift.
