Removing

Op. 5530B10 BATTERY - R+R

1. Prise up the plastic lower mount from the housing and remove it.

- Release the wiring looms connected to the retaining clips, fastened to the battery drip-tray.

1. Undo bolts (1a) and nut (1b)

2. Remove the battery drip-tray.

Refitting

1. Place the battery drip tray in its housing.

2. Tighten battery drip-tray retaining bolts (2a) and nut (2b) to the specified torque.

- Attach the wiring looms to the retaining clips, fastened to the battery drip-tray.

- Reposition the lower plastic mount in its housing.

Removing

Op. 5530B10 BATTERY - R+R

Op. 1056B82 INJECTION/IGNITION SYSTEM E.C.U. (ONE) - R + R

1. Release the lower plastic support from its housing and remove it.

- Release the cable loom secured to the retaining clips fastened to the battery drip tray.

1. Undo the fixing bolts (1a) and the nut (1b)

2. Remove the battery drip tray.

Refitting

1. Place the battery drip tray in its housing.

2. Tighten the bolts (2a) and the nut (2b) securing the battery drip tray to the recommended torque.

- Secure the cable loom to the retaining clips fastened to the battery drip tray.

- Place the lower plastic support back in position.

1.3 Multijet

Removing

Op. 5530B10 BATTERY - R+R

1. Disconnect the engine management unit electrical connections.

- Release the wiring for the engine management control unit from the retaining bands.

2. Unscrew bolts (2a) and nut (2b) and remove battery drip-tray (2c) complete with engine management control unit.

1. At the bench, undo nuts (1a) and separate battery drip-tray (1b) from engine management control unit (1c).

Refitting

- Working at the bench, fit the engine management control unit to the battery drip-tray and tighten the nuts.

- Fit the battery drip tray complete with engine management control unit and tighten the bolts and nut.

- Secure the wiring to the retaining clip.

1. Connect the electrical connections for the engine management control unit.
