Operation 5520A10 · IGNITION SWITCH

1.2 8v, 1.3 Multijet, 1.4 16v

Removing

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

Op. 7040A26 STEERING COLUMN TRIM - R+R

Op. 5580E08 AERIAL FOR ELECTRONIC KEY (CODE) - R.R

- Make sure that the steering lock is not on.

1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the igntion switch.

2. Remove the bolts without a head using a hammer and chisel.

3. Remove the ignition switch assembly.

Refitting

1. Place the ignition switch assembly in position.

2. Tighten the special new bolts until the heads shear off.

3. Connect the electrical connection for the igntion switch.

- Connect the negative battery terminal.
