Removing

Op. 1048A10 AIR FILTER ASSEMBLY - R.R.

Op. 1048A23 COLD AIR INTAKE FOR AIR FILTER - R.R

1. Unscrew the bolts and remove the engine oil filter cover guard.

2. Undo the connectors (2a) and remove the turbocharger engine oil supply pipe (2b).

Refitting

- Position the pipe carrying engine oil to the turbocharger in its housing and secure it with the connectors.

- Place the engine oil pump cover guard back in its housing and secure it using the bolts.

- Position the vehicle on a lift.

1. Undo the connector (1a) and disconnect the turbocharger engine oil supply pipe (1b), turbocharger side.

1. Undo the connector (1a) and disconnect the turbocharger engine oil supply pipe (1b), engine crankcase side and remove it.

Refitting

- Place the turbocharger engine oil supply pipe in position, connect it to the engine crankcase and tighten the connector to the recommended torque.

- Connect the turbocharger engine oil supply pipe, turbocharger side and tighten the connector to the recommended torque.

- Remove the vehicle from the lift.

Removing

1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the Lambda sensor.

1. Disconnect the vacuum pipe from the turbocharger vane control actuator.

2. Unscrew the bolts and nut and remove the engine oil filter cover guard.

3. Undo the connectors (3a) and remove the turbocharger engine oil supply pipe (3b).

Refitting

- Position the pipe carrying engine oil to the turbocharger in its housing and secure it by tightening the connectors.

- Place the engine oil filter cover back in its housing and secure it using the bolts.

- Connect the vacuum pipe to the turbocharger vane control actuator.

- Connect the electrical connection for the Lambda sensor.
