Functional description

The switch for the reversing lights I20 is supplied when the ignition is switched on (INT/A) from the line protected by fuse F31for the junction unit B2 under the facia.

When reverse gear is engaged, the switch closes and send the supply to the reversing light in the left rear light cluster F30 and right F31, directly via the junction unit B2 from pins 7 and 8 connector D.

The reversing light activation signal is sent to the Body Computer M1 - pin 3 of connector F - and from there to the steering column switch unit H5 to turn on the rear wiper See E3021 REAR WINDOW WASH/WIPE automatically; it is also sent, via the CAN line, to the parking sensor control unit M84 See E3090 PARKING SENSOR.
