  1. Unscrew the engine compartment protection screws.
  2. Remove the engine compartment protection.

  1. Take out the engine coolant sleeve from the water pump and drain the liquid into a suitable container.
  2. Take out the water pump engine coolant pipe.

  1. Loosen the alternator fastening screws (1a) and remove the alternator / water pump belt (1b).

  1. Unscrew screws (1a) securing the engine water pump (1b) and remove it with its gasket.

Refitting

  • Assemble the engine water pump and fasten it with its screws.
  • Assemble the alternator / water pump belt.
  • Follow Op. 1092B54 Alternator / water pump BELT - Tension adjustment.
  • Insert the engine coolant pipe onto the water pump.
  • Insert the engine coolant sleeve onto the water pump.
