  • Unscrew the engine coolant tank plug.
  • Raise the vehicle.
  • 1. Unscrew the engine compartment protection screws.
  • 2. Remove the engine compartment protection.

  1. Take out the lower sleeve from the engine radiator and drain the coolant into a suitable container.

  • Insert the lower sleeve on the engine radiator.
  • Assemble the engine compartment protection and fasten with its screws.
  • Lower the vehicle.
  1. Take out the upper sleeve from the radiator.
  2. Take out the upper sleeve from the engine thermostat and remove it.

Refitting

  • Insert the upper sleeve on the engine thermostat.
  • Insert the upper sleeve on the radiator.
  • Connect the negative (-) battery terminal

  • Remove the body protection cover.
  • Close the engine compartment.
  • Remove the vehicle from the hoist.

1088D20 - COOLANT INLET SLEEVE TO WATER PUMP - R+R

Removal

  • Position the vehicle on a hoist.
  • Open the engine compartment.
  • Assemble the body protection covers.
  • Disconnect the battery (-) terminal
