  1. Release the retaining spring (1a) and remove the bulb (1b).

Refitting

  • Check bulb operation.
  • Assemble the bulb in its seat and reattach the retaining spring.
  • Assemble the protection cap and connect the electric connection.

Removal

  1. Disconnect the side light electric connection.

  1. Turn the bulb holder (2a) anti-clockwise, remove it from its seat and remove the bulb (2b) (clip-on attachment).

Refitting

  • Check bulb operation.
  • Insert bulb in bulb holder (clip-on attachment).
  • Assemble the bulb holder in the headlight and connect the electric connection.

5540B38 - HEADLIGHT/LIGHT CLUSTER BEAM - DIRECTION

  • Prepare the vehicle with spare wheel, tool, fluids and fuel.
  • Check the tyre pressure is correct.
  • Turn the headlight beam adjustment knob to 0.
  • Position the vehicle on flat ground, directed perpendicularly 10 metres in front of a screen or opaque surface with the following lines drawn on it.
