  1. Turn the motor (right-hand motor clockwise and left-hand motor anti-clockwise), and remove it.

Refitting

  • If required, check motor electric operation. Check that the headlight rod movement corresponds to the positions which can be selected.

Headlight beam adjuster motor rod stroke-
  • Insert motor and turn it (right-hand motor anti-clockwise and left-hand motor clockwise).
  • Connect the electric connection to the motor.
  • Check motor operation by operating the switch in the passenger compartment, with the dipped-beam headlights on.
  • Complete with Op. 5540B38 - HEADLIGHT/LIGHT CLUSTER BEAM - DIRECTION.
