Removing

- 5530B56 BATTERY DRIP TRAY COVER - R.R..

Disconnect the battery negative terminal.

Remove the injection wiring from the area.

1. Disconnect the electrical connector for the sender unit.

2. Undo and remove the sender unit.

1.4 16v

Removing

- 5530B56 BATTERY DRIP TRAY COVER - R.R..

Disconnect the battery negative terminal.

Move the injection wiring out of the area.

1. Disconnect the electrical connector for the sender unit.

2. Undo and remove the sender unit.

1.6 16v

Removing

- 5530B56 BATTERY DRIP TRAY COVER - R.R.

Disconnect the battery negative terminal.

- 1048A32 sleeve from air cleaner to intake manifold - r + r

1. Disconnect the electrical connection from the engine coolant temperature sensor.

2. Undo and remove the engine coolant temperature sensor.

1.8 16v

Removing

- 5530B56 BATTERY DRIP TRAY COVER - R.R.

Disconnect the battery negative terminal.

- 1016A40 ignition coil cover on cylinder head- r+r

1. Disconnect the electrical connection from the engine coolant temperature sensor.

2. Undo and remove the engine coolant temperature sensor.

2.4 20v

Removing

- 5530B56 BATTERY DRIP TRAY COVER - R.R.

Disconnect the battery negative terminal.

- 5530B52 Battery DRIP TRAY/SUPPORT - R.R.

- 1056B82 injection/ignition system e.c.u. (one) - r + r

- 1048A31 RIGID PIPE between air filter and intake manifold - R.R.

1. Disconnect the electrical connection from the engine coolant temperature sensor.

2. Undo and remove the engine coolant temperature sensor.

1.2 16v

Refitting

Fit the temperature sender unit in its seat.

Tighten the engine coolant temperature sender unit to torque.

Connect the electrical connector for the sender unit.

Connect the battery negative terminal.

Refitting

Fit the temperature sending unit in its seat.

Tighten the engine coolant temperature sender unit to torque.

Connect the electrical connector for the sender unit.

Connect the battery negative terminal.

1.6 16v

Refitting

Place the engine coolant temperature sensor back in its housing and tighten it to the recommended torque.

Connect the electrical connection to the engine coolant temperature sensor.

- 1048A32 sleeve from air cleaner to intake manifold - r + r

Connect the battery's negative terminal.

- 5530B56 BATTERY DRIP TRAY COVER - R.R.

1.8 16v

Refitting

Fit the water temperature sensor and tighten it to the recommended torque.

Connect the electrical connection to the engine coolant temperature sensor.

Connect using op. 101A640

Connect the battery negative terminal.

2.4 20v

Refitting

Place the engine coolant temperature sensor back in its housing and tighten it to the recommended torque.

Connect the electrical connection to the engine coolant temperature sensor.

- 1056B82 injection/ignition system e.c.u. (one) - r + r

- 5530B52 Battery DRIP TRAY/SUPPORT - R.R.

Connect the battery negative terminal.
