1.2 16v

Removing

- 1008B10 power unit front mount (timing side) flexible block - replace

1. Undo the fixing bolts (1a) and remove the rigid engine mount (1b).

1.4 16v

Removing

- 1008B10 power unit front mount (timing side) flexible block - replace

1. Undo the fixing bolts (1a) and remove the rigid engine mount (1b).

1.6 16v

Removing

- 1008B10 power unit front mount (timing side) flexible block - replace

1. Undo the bolts and the nut (1a) and remove the timing side rigid support (1b).

1.8 16v

Removing

- 1088B10 engine cooling tank - r + r

Position a suitable tool for supporting the engine under the sump in order to be able to work safely.

1. Undo the nuts fixing the rigid support to the mounting bracket on the engine.

2. Undo the bolts fixing the rigid support to the bodyshell and remove the rigid support complete with flexible mounting.

The flexible mounting cannot be dismantled from the rigid support.

1.9 JTD 16v

Removing

- 1016A10 sound-proofing cover - r + r

1. Undo the retaining bolts.

2. Disconnect the coolant recirculation pipe.

3. Place the coolant reservoir at the side.

1.2 16v

Refitting

Tighten the bolts securing the rigid engine mount.

- 1008B10 power unit front mount (timing side) flexible block - replace

Remove the vehicle from the ramp.

1.4 16v

Refitting

Tighten the bolts securing the rigid engine mount.

- 1008B10 power unit front mount (timing side) flexible block - replace

Remove the vehicle from the lift.

1.6 16v

Refitting

Place the timing side rigid support back in its housing and tighten the fixing nut and bolts.

1.8 16v

Refitting

Fit the rigid engine support complete with flexible mounting.

Tighten the bolts fixing the rigid support to the body to torque.

Tighten the nuts fixing the rigid support to the engine to torque.

Remove the supporting tool positioned previously under the engine.

- 1088B10 engine cooling tank - r + r

- 0010T21 coolant check density and top up if necessary

1.9 JTD 16v

Position a hydraulic safety device and engine support underneath the engine oil sump.

1. Undo the nuts fixing the rigid support to the pressure pump mounting.

2. Undo the bolts (2a) fixing the support to the bodyshell and the bolt (2b) fixing the support to the fuel filter bracket.

3. Remove the rigid engine support complete with flexible mounting.

The flexible mounting cannot be dismantled from the rigid support.

Refitting

Fit the rigid engine support complete with flexible mounting.

Tighten the bolts fixing the rigid support to the body to torque.

Tighten the nuts fixing the rigid support to the pressure pump mount to torque.

Remove the hydraulic safety device and engine support from underneath the engine oil sump.

Position the coolant reservoir.

Connect the coolant recirculation pipe to the reservoir.

Tighten the bolts securing the coolant reservoir.
