COMMUNICATION WITH FAILURE WARNING LIGHTS ERROR

The diagnostic equipment signals the following error: C1522 Communication with failure warning lights

This error is signalled when there is an error at the B-CAN beween the Body Computer and the instrument panel or ir one of the warning lights (EBD, ABS, ASR or ESP) is faulty

1	INITIAL PANEL CHECK	All OK	Problems met	Operation
		Results of the tests
	Turn the ignition ON and check whether the instrument panel carries out the initial check on the warning lights	Continue to Step 2	One or more of the warning lights does not come on	Replace instrument panel Op. 5560B10
2	ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS CHECK	All OK	Problems met	Operation
	Check that the instrument panel is correctly connected to the CAN See E4010 INSTRUMENT PANEL	Continue to Step 3	Problems with the electrical connections	Restore the correct connections, if necessary, replace the instrument panel Op. 5560B10
3	CHECK ON CORRECT OPERATION	All OK	Problems met	Operation
	Delete the errors using the diagnostic equipment. Carry out road See Test 3340A ABS intervention checkto make the control unit check whether there are still errors present. Return to the workshop and check that the fault is no longer present using the diagnostic equipment	End of diagnosis
