SPEED SENSOR ERROR ELECTRIC ERROR

The diagnostic equipment signals one or more of the following errors: C1200 ADX speed sensor, electrical error, C1205 ASX speed sensor, electrical error, C1210 PDX speed sensor, electrical error and/or C1215 PSX speed sensor, electrical error

This error is signalled if the control unit receives an open circuit or short circuit (at the positive or earth) at a sensor or wiring. This fault can also be detected if the control unit connector is damaged.

		Results of the tests
	Visually inspect the state of the sensors affected by the error (front and/or rear, right and/or left) and the wiring.	Continue to Step 2	Left front sensor faulty	Replace sensor Op. 3340A26. Continue to Step 3
			Right front sensor faulty	Replace sensor Op. 3340A28. Continue to Step 3
			Left rear sensor faulty	Replace sensor Op. 3340A35. Continue to Step 3
			Right rear sensor faulty	Replace sensor Op. 3340A37. Continue to Step 3
			Wiring faulty	Restore the correct connections See E7020 ABS. Continue to Step 3
2	CONTROL UNIT CONNECTOR CHECK	All OK	Problems met	Operation
	Check that the control unit connector is not faulty at the pins (on both the wiring and control unit sides) by carrying out a visual inspection. In particular, check that: They are not oxidized They are not distorted or broken	Continue to Step 3	Wiring side connector faulty	Replace the wiring Op. 5505C28
		Continue to Step 3	Control unit side connector faulty	Replace the electronic control unit Op. 3340A12
3	CHECK ON CORRECT OPERATION	All OK	Problems met	Operation
	Delete the errors using the diagnostic equipment. Turn the ignition OFF and then ON to make the control unit check whether there are errors present Check that the fault is no longer present	End of diagnosis	The fault persists	Continue to Step 2
