Description
The vehicle is equipped with two reversing lights located in the rear light clusters.
These are operated whenever reverse is engaged via a switch on the outside of the gear housing.
The reversing lights circuit is supplied when the key is in position M.
The signal that reverse gear has been engaged is managed by the Body Computer which sends this information to the steering wheel node
for the automatic operation of the rearscreen wiper
for the electro-chrome rear view mirror
and to the parking sensors control unit
The vehicle is equipped with two reversing lights located in the rear light clusters.
The reversing lights are activated each time reverse gear is engaged: there is a switch on the outside of the gearbox casing.
The reversing lights circuit is supplied when the key is in position M.
The signal confirming engagement is managed by the Body Computer. The information is then forwarded to the steering column switch unit (steering wheel node control unit) which:
- if the windscreen wipers are working, activates the automatic operation of the rearscreen wiper;
See E3021 REAR WINDOW WASH/WIPE
- activates the electro-chrome rear view mirror;
See E3032 DOOR MIRROR ADJUSTMENT
- enables the parking sensor control unit.
