ABS AND HANDBRAKE WARNING LIGHTS BOTH ON

The Brake Node sends the ABS and EDB warning light on message via the C-CAN to the Body Computer which makes it available to the Instrument Panel Node via the gateway through the B-CAN.

	Check that there is no ABS/EBD system failure message at the reconfigurable matrix	Move on to Step	Message present	Move on to Step
1	CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Connect the Examiner diagnostic equipment to the diagnostic connector and check the following at the CAN: no control unit not activated; that there are no faulty control units; no control unit with faulty CAN line;	Move on to Step	1. Fault at CAN network	1. Continue following the instructions for the diagnostic equipment
		Move on to Step	2. errors at Brake Node	Move on to Step
2	CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Keeping the Examiner diagnostic equipment connecte to the diagnostic connector, check the following at the brake node: in errors ambient no system component errors no warning light error/warning light damaged	Move on to Step	1. system/components faulty	1. Continue following the instructions for the diagnostic equipment
		Move on to Step	2. warning light faulty/warning light damaged	Move on to Step
3	CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Keeping the Examiner diagnostic equipment connecte to the diagnostic connector, check the following at the brake node: in active diagnosis ambient the operation of the ABS and EBD warning light	Move on to Step	warning light not flashing	Move on to Step
4	CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Keeping the Examiner diagnostic equipment connected to the diagnostic connector, check the following at the instrument panel node: in active diagnosis ambient the operation of the ABS and EBD warning light	Move on to Step	warning light not flashing	See in Op. 5560B11 ANALOGUE CONTROL PANEL - R.R. or Replace
5	CHECK ON CORRECT OPERATION	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Check that the fault is no longer present		fault persists	Replace the brake node
