MIL WARNING LIGHT NOT WORKING

2.0 TB, 2.4 20V, 3.0 V6, 2.4 JTD 10V

The MIL warning light does not come with the ignition on;

the MIL warning light is switched on by means of an earth command directly from the "engine management node"; during normal operation the MIL warning light should come on when the ignition is on and go out when the engine is started up.

3	ELECTRICAL SYSTEM CHECK	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Check the continuity and the insulation of the wiring between the engine management node and the instrument panel node (Wiring Diagram ) E4010 INSTRUMENT PANEL	Move on to Step	1. Cable broken or earthed	1. Restore the electrical connections (Wiring Diagram ) E4010 INSTRUMENT PANEL
		Move on to Step	2. Cable intact, instrument panel defective	2. Replace instrument panel See in Op. 5560B11 ANALOGUE CONTROL PANEL - R.R. or Replace
