MILOMTER NOT WORKING

While driving, the milometer does not work or works irregularly;

the speedometer works normally, If the speedometer is also not working properly, see diagnosis K003;

the milometer signal is supplied by the "body computer node" using the signals coming from the "brake node" and is made available to the instrument panel node via the B-CAN.

STEPOPERATIONS TO BE CARRIED OUTTEST RESULTS
0PRELIMINARY CHECKALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION

Check the following with the engine running:

  • no fault message is displayed
Move on to StepFaults foundMove on to Step
1CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENTALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION

Connect the Examiner diagnostic equipment to the diagnostic connector and check the following at the CAN:

  • no control unit not activated;
  • that there are no faulty control units;
  • no control unit with faulty CAN line;
Move on to Step1. Faults on CAN network1. Continue following the instructions for the diagnostic equipment
2. Errors on instrument panel nodeMove on to Step
2CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENTALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION

Keeping the Examiner diagnostic equipment connected to the diagnostic connector, check the following at the instrument panel node:in errors ambient

  • that there are no faults
Move on to StepPresence of errorsContinue following the instructions for the diagnostic equipment
3CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENTALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION

Keeping the Examiner diagnostic equipment connected to the diagnostic connector, check the following at the instrument panel node: in active diagnosis ambient

  • the operation of the milometer display.
Move on to StepMilometer not working

Replace instrument panel

4CHECK ON CORRECT OPERATIONALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION
Check that the fault is no longer present
