  2. Remove 2 nuts and bolts securing heat shield to
Remove 2 nuts and bolts securing heat shield to
  1. Remove heat shield.
  2. Remove 3 nuts and bolts securing transfer box
  3. Release earth lead from fixing.
  4. Remove bolt securing earth lead to RH side of transfer box.
  5. Fit transmission cradle LRT-99-008A to transmission jack.
  6. Fit and tighten bolts securing cradle to jack.
  7. Remove 2 lower bolts securing transfer box rear cover.
  8. Collect hand brake cable heat shield.
  9. Raise jack and align cradle to transmission.
  10. Remove nut securing transfer box RH mounting.
  11. Refit previously removed transfer box rear cover
  12. Remove 3 nuts and bolts securing transfer box

bolts to secure cradle.

  1. Remove transfer box RH mounting bracket and
  2. Lower transmission on jack to access harness
