  1. Position carpet aside and remove 2 bolts securing bonnet release lever to luggage compartment bulkhead.
  2. Release cable abutment and cable from lever assembly.
  3. Release cable from rear, inner wing clip.
  4. Position felt pad aside and release grommet from hoodwell panel.
  5. Feed cable through body holes and remove grommet from cable.

  1. Remove stud securing carpet to inner wheel arch.
  2. Release carpet from door seal and 5 velcro strips.
  3. Remove 2 studs securing carpet to ’B’ post, and release carpet from door seal and velcro to reveal cables.

  1. Release cable from 3 sill clips and 3 ’B’ post clips.
  2. Release cable from floorpan crossmember.
  3. Release grommet from scuttle and remove cable.
