TAILGATE LATCH

Service repair no - 76.37.17

Remove

  1. Remove tailgate trim casing. See Interior trim components.
Tailgate latch – Remove tailgate trim casing. See Interior trim components.
  1. Remove 2 bolts securing latch to tailgate.
Tailgate latch – Remove 2 bolts securing latch to tailgate.
  1. Release latch from tailgate and disconnect 2 Lucars and release cable.
  2. Remove latch from tailgate.

Refit

  1. Position latch to tailgate and connect release cable and Lucars.
  2. Fit bolts securing latch to tailgate and tighten to 7 Nm.
  3. Fit tailgate trim casing. See Interior trim components.
