Do not carry out further dismantling if component is removed for access only.

  1. Remove 2 screws securing centre high mounted stop light to spoiler.
  2. Remove centre high mounted stop light.

Refit

  1. Fit centre high mounted stop light to spoiler and secure with screws.
  2. Position spoiler to tailgate and connect centre high mounted stop light multiplug.
  3. Fit bolts securing spoiler to tailgate and tighten to 6 Nm.
  4. Fit tailgate upper finisher. See Interior trim components.

Remove

Tailgate applique – Service repair no - 76.28.76
  1. Using special tool 18G 1766 , remove 4 fixings securing applique to tailgate.

  1. Release 2 clips securing applique to tailgate.
  2. Disconnect 4 Lucars from number plate lights and remove applique.
