CRANKCASE PRESSURE LIMITER VALVE - ’L’ SERIES

Service repair no - 17.10.25

Remove

1. Loosen clip and disconnect engine breather hose from valve.
2. Loosen clip and remove valve from air intake pipe.

Refit

NOTE: Ensure ’F’ identification mark on valve is connected to turbocharger duct.

1. Fit valve to air intake pipe and tighten clip.
2. Connect engine breather hose to valve and tighten clip.

EGR VALVE - ’L’ SERIES

Service repair no - 17.45.01

Remove

1. Remove engine acoustic cover. See BODY, Exterior fittings.

2. Disconnect vacuum pipe from EGR valve.
3. Remove 2 Allen screws securing EGR valve to inlet manifold elbow.
4. Remove 2 bolts securing EGR valve to recirculation pipe.
5. Remove EGR valve.
6. Remove and discard 2 gaskets.

Refit

1. Clean mating faces of EGR valve, inlet manifold elbow and recirculation pipe.
2. Fit gaskets to EGR valve.
3. Align EGR valve to inlet manifold elbow and recirculation pipe.
4. Fit 2 Allen screws securing EGR valve to inlet manifold elbow and tighten to 25 Nm.
5. Fit 2 bolts to recirculation pipe and tighten to 25 Nm.
6. Connect vacuum pipe from EGR solenoid to EGR valve.
7. Fit engine acoustic cover. See BODY, Exterior fittings.
