Service Repair No. 17.30.10

Remove

  1. Remove air cleaner assembly.

  1. Release clips securing air cleaner lid.
  2. Remove lid and filter element.

Thermac switch with vacuum pipes attached, callout numbers 6 and 7

  1. Remove vacuum pipes from switch.
  2. Bend up tags on switch clip and remove clip.
  3. Remove switch.
  4. Remove seal.

Refit

  1. Clean switch and mating face.
  2. Fit seal and switch and secure with clip.
  3. Fit vacuum pipes.
  4. Clean inside of air cleaner case and fit air cleaner element.
  5. Fit air cleaner lid and secure clips.
  6. Refit air cleaner assembly.

AIR TEMPERATURE CONTROL VALVE

Service Repair No. 17.30.03

Remove

Air temperature control valve connected to intake hose with callout numbers 1, 2, and 3

  1. Disconnect vacuum hose from air temperature control valve.
  2. Release rubber strap from intake hose.
  3. Remove screw securing intake hose clip and release intake hose.

  1. Remove screw securing air cleaner intake support to camshaft cover bracket.

  1. Release 2 clips securing intake to air cleaner and remove intake.
