Headlamp Bulb Replacement - Right Side (Xenon)

Removal Procedure

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
2. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to:
  •  Air Cleaner Replacement for 1.3L Diesel
  •  Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement for 1.7L Diesel
  •  Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement for 2.0L Diesel.

3. To unlock the cap (1), rotate the cap counterclockwise.

4. To unlock the Xenon cable (1), press the spring (2) and remove the connector from the bulb.

5. To unlock the bulb (1), rotate the bulb counterclockwise.

6. The collar (1) is removed together with the bulb.

7. To unlock the collar, press the spring (1) and remove it from the bulb.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the collar to the bulb and lock the spring (1).

2. The collar (1) is to install together with the bulb.

3. To lock the bulb (1), rotate the bulb clockwise.

4. Install the connector to the bulb and install Xenon cable (1), lock the spring (2).

5. To lock the cap (1), rotate the cap clockwise.
6. Install the air cleaner assembly. Refer to:
  •  Air Cleaner Replacement for 1.3L Diesel
  •  Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement for 1.7L Diesel
  •  Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement for 2.0L Diesel.
7. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
