STEP	CHECK TO BE PERFORMED	REMEDIAL ACTION IF THE CHECK IS NOT OK
1	Check resistance Disconnect the wiring side connector from the steering wheel stalk unit Cruise control stalk Place the Cruise Control control in the SET- position Select the Ohmmeter mode on the Examiner Connect the probes between pins 2 and 5 of the Cruise Control stalk connector and check that a resistance reading of 300 Ohms ± 10 % is present at 20°C	Replace the steering wheel stalk complete with Cruise Control control Op. 5580A10 CRUISE CONTROL LEVER ASSEMBLY - R+R
