STEP	CHECK TO BE PERFORMED	REMEDIAL ACTION IF THE CHECK IS NOT OK
1	Disconnect the wiring side connector from the steering wheel stalk unit Cruise control stalk Place the Cruise Control control in the ON position - Place the Cruise Control control in "SET+" position Select the Ohmmeter mode on the Examiner Connect the probes between pins 2 and 6 of the Cruise Control stalk connector and ensure a resistance reading of 300 Ohms ± 10 % is present at 20°C	Replace the steering wheel stalk complete with Cruise Control control Op. 5580A10 CRUISE CONTROL LEVER ASSEMBLY - R+R

STEP

CHECK TO BE PERFORMED

REMEDIAL ACTION IF THE CHECK IS NOT OK

Disconnect the wiring side connector from the steering wheel stalk unit Cruise control stalk

Place the Cruise Control control in the ON position

- Place the Cruise Control control in "SET+" position

Select the Ohmmeter mode on the Examiner

Connect the probes between pins 2 and 6 of the Cruise Control stalk connector and ensure a resistance reading of 300 Ohms ± 10 % is present at 20°C

Replace the steering wheel stalk complete with Cruise Control control
