THROTTLE CASE - R + R

Operation 1056B14 · MULTI-POINT INJECTION SYSTEM (MPI)

1.4 16v

Removing

If the throttle body is replaced, run the following self-learning procedure:

- with the engine switched off, turn the ignition key to MAR without pressing the accelerator pedal and with the engine temperature between 5.25°C and 100.5°C for 29 seconds.

Op. 1048A32 HOSE FROM AIR FILTER TO INTAKE MANIFOLD - R + R

1. Detach the electrical connection for the throttle body.

2. Undo bolts (2a) and move mounting bracket (2b) to the side complete with the injection-ignition system control unit.

3. Undo remaining bolt (3a) and remove throttle body (3b).

THROTTLE CASE - R + R

Refitting

- Place the throttle body back in its housing and secure it using the bolt.

- Refit the injection-ignition system control unit mounting bracket in its housing and secure it using the bolts.

- Connect the electrical connection for the throttle body.

Removing

Op. 1048B30 AIR SUPPLY HOSE FROM RIGID PIPE TO THROTTLE BODY - REPLACE

1. Detach the electrical connection for the throttle body.

2. Undo bolts (2a) and remove throttle body (2b).

- Remove the O-ring from the intake chamber.

THROTTLE CASE - R + R

Refitting

- Fit a new O-Ring on the intake chamber.

- Place the throttle body back in its housing and tighten the bolts.

- Connect the electrical connection for the throttle body.
