SWITCH ON CLUTCH PEDAL - R.R (PETROL ENGINES)

Removing

1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the clutch pedal switch.

2. Press the clutch pedal, rotate the switch in a clockwise direction and remove it from the pedal unit mounting.

Refitting

If a new clutch pedal switch ordered from the Parts dept. is fitted, the rod travel does not need to be adjusted.

If the same clutch pedal switch that was removed is to be fitted, the rod must be adjusted by bringing it to the maximum extension, as shown in the diagram.

Take care not to damage the internal teeth when removing the rod.

- Press the clutch pedal, fit the switch into the special slot and lock it by rotating it in an anti-clockwise direction until it clicks, meaning that the retaining tooth has engaged.

- Release the clutch pedal.

- Connect the electrical connection for the clutch pedal switch.
