REVERSING LIGHTS - FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION
FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION
The switch for the reversing lights I20 receives a supply controlled by the ignition (INT) from the fuse line F35 of the junction unit under the dashboard B2.
When reverse gear is engaged, the switch closes and sends a power supply to the reversing light in the right rear light cluster F33, directly via the junction unit B2 from pin 7 of connector D.
The reversing light activation signal is sent to the steering column switch unit H5 - pin 3 of connector A - for the automatic activation of the rearscreen wiper.
See E3021 REAR WINDOW WASH/WIPE
and to the Body Computer M1 - pin 3 of connector F - and from the latter, via the CAN line, to the parking sensor control unit and to the other network nodes.
