Removing

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.1. Working on both sides, undo the retaining clips to disconnect and remove the pipe from the intake manifold to the intercooler.

1. Working on both sides, undo the retaining clips to disconnect and remove the pipe from the turbocharger to the intercooler.

1. Undo the fixing bolts (1a) and move the power assisted steering fluid reservoir and mounting bracket (1b) away from the work area.

1. Undo the bolt (1a) securing the air conditioning pipe (1b).

1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the fuel pressure regulator.

2. Undo the retaining bolts.3. Remove the fuel pressure regulator from its housing.

Refitting

- Place the fuel pressure regulator in position and tighten the fixing bolts.- Connect the electrical connection for the fuel pressure regulator.

- Fit the power assisted steering fluid reservoir in place and tighten the fastenings.- Position the pipe from the turbocharger to the intercooler and secure with the retaining clips.- Position the pipe from the inlet manifold to the intercooler and secure with the retaining clips.- Connect the negative battery terminal.

Removing

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.1. Working on both sides, undo the retaining clips to disconnect and remove the pipe from the intake manifold to the intercooler.

1. Working on both sides, undo the retaining clips to disconnect and remove the pipe from the turbocharger to the intercooler.

1. Undo the fixing bolts (1a) and move the power assisted steering fluid reservoir and mounting bracket (1b) away from the work area.

1. Undo the bolt (1a) securing the air conditioning pipe (1b).

1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the fuel pressure regulator.

2. Undo the retaining bolts.3. Remove the fuel pressure regulator from its housing.

Refitting

- Place the fuel pressure regulator in position and tighten the fixing bolts.- Connect the electrical connection for the fuel pressure regulator.

- Fit the power assisted steering fluid reservoir in place and tighten the fastenings.- Position the pipe from the turbocharger to the intercooler and secure with the retaining clips.- Position the pipe from the inlet manifold to the intercooler and secure with the retaining clips.- Connect the negative battery terminal.
