Removing

Op. 7055B54 UNDER-ENGINE GUARD - R R

1. Undo the bolt (1a) fixing the ABS mounting bracket (1b) to the crossmember.

1. Undo the bolts securing the bumper to the crossmember.

2. Undo the nuts (2a) securing the wiring to the crossmember and release it from the fastening springs (2b).

3. Undo the bolts securing the beam to the side struts.

4. Remove the radiator support beam.

Refitting

- Fit the radiator support beam.

- Tighten the bolts securing the beam to the side struts.

- Secure the wiring to the lower radiator beam and fasten it using the bands and nuts.

- Tighten the bolts securing the bumper to the crossmember.

- Tighten the bolts fixing the ABS mounting bracket to the crossmember.

- Remove the vehicle from the lift.

2.0 JTD 8V

Removing

- Position the vehicle on the lift.

1. Release the electrical wiring secured to the crossmember.

2. Undo the bolts securing the front bumper to the crossmember.

3. Undo the bolts securing the beam to the side struts.

- Remove the radiator support beam.

Refitting

- Fit the radiator support beam.

- Tighten the bolts securing the beam to the side struts.

- Secure the wiring to the lower radiator crossmember.

Op. 7055B54 UNDER-ENGINE GUARD - R R

- Remove the vehicle from the lift.

2.3 JTD 16V

Removing

- Position the vehicle on the lift.

1. Release the electrical wiring secured to the beam from the fastening clips.

2. Undo the bolts securing the front headlamps to the beam.

3. Undo the bolts securing the beam to the side struts.

4. Remove the radiator support beam.

Refitting

- Fit the radiator support beam.

- Tighten the bolts securing the beam to the side struts.

- Secure the wiring to the lower radiator beam and fasten with collars.

- Remove the vehicle from the lift.

Removing

1. Undo the bolts securing the bumper to the crossmember.

2. Undo the nuts (2a) securing the wiring to the crossmember and release it from the fastening springs (2b).

3. Undo the bolts securing the beam to the side struts.

4. Undo the bolt fixing the ABS mounting bracket to the crossmember.

5. Remove the radiator support beam.

Refitting

- Fit the radiator support beam.

- Tighten the bolts securing the beam to the side struts.

- Secure the wiring to the lower radiator beam and fasten it using the bands and nuts.

- Tighten the bolts securing the bumper to the crossmember.

- Tighten the bolts fixing the ABS mounting bracket to the crossmember.

- Remove the vehicle from the lift.
