CLUTCH NOISY

Noise (creaking) is heard when the clutch pedal is operated

Results of the tests

With the engine idling and the gearbox in neutral, fully depress the clutch pedal and check whether the noise disappears.

Then, with the engine running, pull the handbrake to lock the wheels, engage first gear and release the clutch, checking whether the noise disappears

Move on to Step 1

1. The noise disappears with the clutch pressed

2. The noise disappears with the gear engaged

1. Proceed as instructed
