NOISE WHILST DRIVING

Whilst driving, especially on unmade roads, there is an unspecific noise.

This noise could be due to the engine assembly, the clutch-gearbox-differential unit or the braking system. In these cases the noise could also occur on even road surfaces or only in certain gears or certain conditions (gear engagement/release, braking, etc.)

1CHECKS IN FRONT AREA OF PASSENGER COMPARTMENTAll OKProblems encounteredOperation

Check that the noise is not due to the poor fastening of components or equipment.

For example, check whether the noise could be caused by:

- Objects housed in the dashboard or in the front doors

- Incorrect fastening of the front seat belts

Move on to Step 2
