MAIN BEAM HEADLAMPS - Description
Description
The vehicle has two special lamps for the main beam headlamps.
These are switched on:
- with the dipped beam headlamps switched on by pushing the steering column switch unit lever towards the dashboard (stable mode)
- in 'flash' mode, by pulling the lever towards the steering wheel (unstable mode)
Thr circuit is protected by a special fuse and controlled by a relay, both located in the junction unit in the engine compartment.
A warning light in the instrument panel signals that the main beam headlamps have been switched on.
During engine start-up (key ON), the high beams are temporarily off and then turned back on when the engine is started.
