REAR FOG LAMPS - DESCRIPTION

Right hand drive

Description

The vehicle is equipped with one extra-bright rear fog lamp housed in the left tail-light that can be used when visibility is poor.

The rear fog lamp is activated by means of a button on the control panel.

The enablement for turning on the rear fog lamp is dependent on the side lights and the dipped headlamps being switched on or the main beam headlamps or the fog lights.

A warning light in the instrument panel signals that the rear fog lamp has been switched on.

The body computer node:

• manages the switching on of the rear fog lamp;
• monitors the correct operation of the system, signalling any fault by turning on the appropriate lights failure warning light in the instrument panel.

The vehicle is fitted with an extra bright rear fog lamp, located in the left rear light cluster which can be used in all poor visibility conditions.

The rear fog lamps are activated by a button on the control panel;

The rear fog lamps are enabled when the side lights and dipped beams are on, or when the high beams and fog lights are on.

A warning light in the instrument panel signals that the rear foglamps have been switched on.

The body computer node

• manages rear foglamp activation;
• monitors the system to ensure it is working efficiently and indicates any faults by turningon a lighting failure warning light on the instrument panel.
