Refitting

• Reposition the coolant lower outlet sleeve.
• Insert the sleeve on the coolant rigid inlet pipe to the water pump.
• Insert the pipe carrying water to the heater (see Op. 5010A12 PIPE carrying water to heater - R+R.).
• Insert the engine coolant lower outlet sleeve on the radiator.
• Fit the engine coolant supply pipes onto the straps on the rear of the engine cooling radiator
• Insert the engine coolant supply pipe on the tank.
• Assemble the engine coolant supply tank and fasten with its screws.
• Assemble the engine compartment protection and fasten with its screws.
• Connect the negative (-) battery terminal

• Fill the engine cooling system with coolant

• Remove the body protection cover.
• Close the engine compartment.
• Remove the vehicle from the hoist.

1088D14 - COOLANT UPPER INLET SLEEVE TO RADIATOR - R+R.

Removal

• Position the vehicle on a hoist.
• Open the engine compartment.
• Assemble the body protection covers.
• Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

• Unscrew the engine coolant supply tank cap.

1. Unscrew the engine compartment protection screws.
2. Remove the engine compartment protection.

3. Take out the engine coolant outlet lower sleeve and drain the coolant into a suitable container.

• Take out the upper sleeve from the radiator.
• Follow Op. 1048A28 Vacuum air circuit RESOUNDING DEVICE - R+R.
• Follow Op. 5510C10 IGNITION COIL - R.R.
• Unscrew the ignition coil support screw and remove.
