S50 Climate control noise (in engine compartment)

The climate control works correctly but excessive noise is heard leading from the engine compartment.

If the noise can only be heard when the engine is still, check the noise does not lead from the fan, also see table S11.

NOTE: Preliminarily check correct tension of compressor drive belt. If the noise leads from the belt, also see table S10
