6 CHECK CENTRAL PANEL FASTENINGS

Check correct fastening of central control panel to dashboard
In particular check for:
– correct fastening of heating and ventilation switches and controls
– insulating material around wires
– felt pads in the dashboard coupling area

 All OK
Go to Step 7		 Faulty fastening Restore correct fastening
7 CHECK CORRECT OPERATION

Check the fault is no longer present

 All OK
End of test		 Fault persists Seek fault starting from another symptom
If required, remove the whole dashboard panel and restore correct fastening
PROCEDURE OP. 7040A10. If required, restore felt pads
