LANCIA CODE OPERATIONAL DESCRIPTION
Operational Description
The CODE unit inside the Body Computer M001 is supplied by the line from the battery (+30) at pin 18 of connector H and from the line controlled by the ignition (INT) at pin 9.
The aerial for the CODE P091 device is connected to the Body Computer M001 (pins 4 and 5 of connector A) for the recognition of the key.
The information protocol between the engine management control unit M010 and the Body Computer M001 is managed (depending on the conditions described above) as follows:
- by default at the C-CAN, via pins 83 and 84 of connector A of control unit M010 and at pins 32 and 33 of connector B of the Body Computer;
- or at the serial line W through the connection between pin 11 of connector A of the engine management control unit and pin 47 of connector B of M001.
The recovery procedure managed by engine control unit M010 via the tester ( < R1 > ) is enabled by pins 48 and 59 of connector A; while the procedure managed by accelerator pedal K055 is enabled by pins 8, 9, 30, 31, 45 and 46 of connector A.
See E8010 DIAGNOSTIC MULTIPLE CONNECTOR
The electronic injection/EOBD failure warning light inside the instrument panel E050 (pin 10 of connector B) is connected to the engine management control unit M010 (pin 71 of connector A).
Engine control unit M010 is supplied, at pin 28 of connector A, from ignition-operated line (15/54) protected by fuse F16 in engine bay junction unit B001.
Operational Description
The CODE unit inside the Body Computer M001 is supplied by the line from the battery (+30) at pin 18 of connector H and from the line controlled by the ignition (INT) at pin 9.
The aerial for the CODE P091 (located near the ignition switch H001) is connected to the Body Computer M001 (pins 4 and 5 of connector A) for the recognition of the key.
The information protocol between the engine management control unit M010 and the Body Computer M001 is managed (depending on the conditions described above) as follows:
- by default at the C-CAN, via pins 45 and 61 of connector A of control unit M010 and at pins 32 and 33 of connector B of the Body Computer;
- or at the serial line W through the connection between pin 3 of connector A of the engine management control unit and pin 29 of connector B of M001.
The recovery procedure managed by the engine management control unit M010 through the diagnostic equipment (see Wiring diagram E8010 Diagnostic multiple connector) is enabled by pins 27 and 53 of connector A; whilst the procedure managed through the accelerator pedal K055 is enabled by pins 7, 8, 24, 25, 40 and 56 of connector A.
The electronic injection/EOBD failure warning light (also valid for the CODE failure) inside the instrument panel E050 (pin 10 of connector B) is connected to the engine management control unit M010 (pin 46 of connector A).
The engine management control unit M010 is supplied, at pins 15 and 47 of connector A, by the line from the battery protected by fuse F18 and by the line controlled by the ignition (15/54) protected by fuse F16, both housed in the engine compartment junction unit B001.
