SPEEDOMETER CABLE - UPPER - UP TO 2000MY

Service repair no - 88.30.08

Remove

  1. Remove underbonnet closing panel. See BODY, Exterior fittings.

  1. Disconnect upper cable from intermediate cable.
  2. Release upper cable from clip.
  3. Remove instrument cowl. See this section.

  1. Remove 4 screws securing instrument pack to fascia.
  2. Release instrument pack and disconnect upper cable.
  3. Release bulkhead grommet and collect upper cable.

Refit

  1. Position upper cable through bulkhead and connect cable to instrument pack.
  2. Fit bulkhead grommet.
  3. Position instrument pack to fascia and secure with screws.
  4. Fit instrument cowl. See this section.
  5. Fit upper cable to clip.
  6. Connect upper cable to intermediate cable.
  7. Fit underbonnet closing panel. See BODY, Exterior fittings.
