  1. Using a suitable drift, remove primary gear oil seal from flywheel housing.

  1. Remove nut and bolt securing gearbox to engine.
  2. Remove 11 bolts and 2 nuts securing gearbox to engine.
  3. Take weight of engine on lifting chains and release gearbox from engine.

  1. Remove and discard gaskets.
  2. Remove and discard main bearing cap oil seal.
  3. Remove and discard ’O’ ring.
